This is to inform you that the Board of Directors of Raysut Cement Company (SAOG) in their emergency meeting No (1/2010) held on Thursday morning 4th.February 2010 , discussed the subject of purchasing Star Cement Group of Companies for cement ,which consist of plant for production of clinker in Ras Al Khaima, Cement Grinding Plant in Abu Dhabi, Cement Grinding plant in Ajman, Cement Grinding plant in Bahrain, Cement Grinding plant in Yemen, Cement Grinding plant in Bangladesh, Terminal for storage and packing of cement in Sudan and precast factory in Abu Dhabi.

We would like to point out that after extensive discussions that took place among the Directors on the subject, the Board of Directors of Raysut Cement Company agreed to enter into a Bid to acquire and own Star Cement Group of Companies and to submit the quotation in this regard.
